What a Land Rover Remap Can Do
The 3.0 V6 diesels in particular have plenty of headroom. On the 3.0 SDV6 and TDV6 we typically see gains in the region of 40 to 60 bhp, with a large increase in torque. Smaller engines such as the SD4 and Ingenium 2.0 also benefit, with diesel Stage 1 remaps typically adding 20 to 30% more power and 20 to 25% more torque.
- Stronger, smoother acceleration through the gears
- Easier towing of caravans, horseboxes and trailers
- Less kickdown and gear hunting from the automatic gearbox
- More relaxed cruising on the A14 and M11
- Fuel economy often 10 to 15% better when driven sensibly
- Fully reversible at any time
Engines We Tune
3.0 TDV6 and SDV6
Found in the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery. These are among the most rewarding engines we remap, and owners usually notice the difference straight away when towing or joining a fast road.
2.2 SD4
Used in the Evoque, Freelander 2 and Discovery Sport. These are fairly heavy vehicles for a four cylinder engine, and a remap helps them feel much less strained, particularly when loaded with passengers and luggage.
Ingenium 2.0 diesel
Found in the newer Evoque, Velar, Discovery Sport and Defender. We write maps to suit these engines' smooth delivery, filling in the gap low down so the car pulls more willingly without feeling peaky.

Mobile Range Rover Remapping Across Cambridgeshire
We are fully mobile, so we can remap your Land Rover at home or at work. We cover Cambridge and nearby towns including Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives, Newmarket and Peterborough. You are also welcome to visit our workshop at Unit 4, New Close Farm, Milton, just off the A14.
A typical remap takes one to two hours. Same-day or next-day appointments are often available, Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm.

How We Remap Your Land Rover
We start with a free diagnostic check. Land Rover diesels can hide faults such as boost leaks or sensor problems, and we would rather tell you about them than tune over them. We then back up your original ECU software using Alientech KESS3 or Autotuner tools.
Your custom map is written for your engine, loaded, and checked for fault codes. We never use generic files. If you are not happy, our 30-day money-back guarantee has you covered.
AdBlue, DPF and EGR Problems on Land Rovers
Later SDV6 models use AdBlue, and failed pumps or NOx sensors can lead to countdown warnings and, eventually, a car that will not restart. DPF and EGR faults are also common on Land Rovers used for short journeys. We offer ECU software solutions for AdBlue from £250, and for DPF or EGR from £180, or £40 extra with a Stage 1 remap.
These solutions are typically sold for off-road, export or motorsport use in many markets, so please be aware of MOT and emissions rules before going ahead.
Prices
A Stage 1 Land Rover or Range Rover remap starts from £250, with Stage 2 from £350. A Stage 1 with an EGR or DPF solution costs £290. All prices include mobile service. Remapping is legal in the UK, but you must tell your insurer.
CB Autotuning has over 10 years of ECU tuning experience and a 5.0 star Google rating. If you would like to talk through what a remap could do for your Land Rover, call or WhatsApp 07513 363757.
