Why Remap a Pickup or 4x4?
Pickup and 4x4 diesels are often tuned conservatively at the factory. A custom Stage 1 remap typically adds 20 to 30% more power and 20 to 25% more torque on diesel engines, with most of the gain arriving low in the rev range where working vehicles need it.

Towing Horseboxes, Trailers and Plant
Towing is the main reason most pickup and 4x4 owners come to us. A loaded horsebox, a livestock trailer or a mini digger on a plant trailer asks a lot of an engine. With more torque available low down, the vehicle pulls away cleanly, holds its gear on inclines and feels less strained over a long trip.
We set the map up for steady, usable torque rather than peak numbers. That suits towing, and it also keeps things kind to the gearbox and drivetrain. Please always stay within your vehicle's legal towing limits, as a remap does not change them.

Built for Farms and the Fens
We work with plenty of rural customers across the Fens and South Cambridgeshire. Farm pickups spend their days at low speed in fields, on drove roads and in yards, then head out onto the main roads with a full load. Low-down torque helps in both situations.

Emissions Problems on Working 4x4s
Pickups used for short farm trips often struggle with DPF and EGR problems, because the engine rarely gets hot enough for long enough. Newer Euro 6 models can also suffer AdBlue faults. We offer ECU software solutions for DPF and EGR from £180, or £40 extra with a Stage 1 remap, and AdBlue solutions from £250.
These solutions are typically sold for off-road, export or motorsport use in many markets, so please be aware of MOT and emissions rules. We will always give you honest advice first.
